PATACHARKUCHI, Aug 5 - A drinking water facility was formally inaugurated at Bajali College,Pathsala on Monday.
The facility, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 3 lakh, was donated by Rajkumar Jalan in memory of Basudev Jalan and Puspa Jalan. The facility will supply fresh drinking water to the students and staff of the college.
The college management committee president Sampurna Nanda Talukdar formally declared it open by cutting a ceremonial ribbon in the presence of the student and staff of the college. Principal Dr Manoj Kumar Mahanta, donor Rajkumar Jalan and Samudra Patgiri, president of Barpeta district AASU spoke a few words on the occasion.
