GUWAHATI, Feb 13 - Popular radio station Gup-Shup 94.3 has presented its lifetime achievement award to eminent artiste Dr Birendranath Datta. Singer-composer Zubeen Garg was also presented the award for �best music.�
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was the chief guest of the function held at the GMCH auditorium.
Other awardees at the function were Simanta Shekhar as the best male singer, Zublee Baruah as the best female singer, Ibsonlal Baruah as the best lyricist and Dhrubajyoti Phukan as the best music director.
Among those present at the function were Cultural Affairs Minister Bismita Gogoi, and chairperson of Gup-Shup Rani Bardoloi.
