GUWAHATI, Feb 7 - The Director of Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Dr Amal Chandra Kataki has been nominated as a member of the Global Burden of Disease India Cancer Expert Group by the Public Health Foundation of India under the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
Dr Kataki is also a member of the steering committee of the National Cancer Registry Programme of the Indian Council of Medical Research. He is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the National Centre for Disease Informatics & Research (NCDIR), Bangalore.
Dr Kataki is a member of the Research Area Panel on Cancer, NCDIR.
