�Dishonour� shown to CJI condemned

GUWAHATI, Oct 22 - The All Assam Ahom Association (Ahom Sabha) has expressed serious concern at the unfortunate incident wherein the Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi was allegedly insulted and humiliated by high officials of the State government on October 21 at the LGBI Airport during the guard of honour.

The association while condemning the untoward incident, has demanded an inquiry into the matter. It has also demanded immediate official punitive measures against ADC Pulak Mahanta who had reportedly uttered uncouth words against the CJI.
