IMPHAL, June 14 - Manipur Directorate of Information and Public Relations began a seven-day basic course in News Reporting at Churachandpur district headquarters on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Meghachandra Kongbam said that in this communication age, media�s role is very important and upto date information on the developmental works taken up by the government should be made available to the general public. A total of 26 persons are participating in the course which will conclude on June 19.
