WILLIAMNAGAR, Oct 9 - Angered at the continued haphazard dumping of waste, despite several warnings by the district administration, the East Garo Hills (EGH) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Swapnil Tembe has threatened action against such acts.
Williamnagar, for long has been facing with problems of garbage with the main bazaar being the place where garbage is dumped indiscriminately, leaving the area unhealthy. The DC asked the people not to dump garbage in order to protect environment.
