NEW DELHI, Oct 11 - The crucial Naga talks remained inconclusive as differences over flag and constitution dogged the peace process.
The meeting, held here on Thursday, was chaired by Nagaland Governor RN Ravi, while the NSCN(I-M) delegation was led by Th Muivah. The meeting was also attended by top home ministry and Intelligence Bureau officials, besides NSCN cadres, among others.
Sources said that the talks remained inconclusive as both the sides remained firm on their stand on demand for separate Naga flag and constitution.
Sources said the two sides failed to break the deadlock as the Centre and Naga group refused to budge. The government refused to give in to the demands for separate flag and constitution, besides the demand for unification of Naga-inhabited areas.
The Nscn said that they would remain firm on their demand. However they remained silent on their stand on three-month deadline for resolution of vexed Naga problem.
