CRPF distributes food items

GUWAHATI, April 15 - Central Reserve Police Force�s 175 Bn conducted a civic action programme at Kapili Picnic Spot under Block Rani, Kamrup on April 12.

�In view of present critical situation arising due to outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, personnel of 175 Battalion of CRPF distributed various foods items like rice, pulse, potato, onion, salt and mustard oil etc., along with various preventive items like sodium hypochlorite, spray machine, bleaching powder, hand sanitizers, hand wash liquid, hand gloves, face masks, soap and immunity enhancing nutrition items like Dabur Chyanwanprash and Tab Vit-CEE etc., among 150 families of village Amring, Dumupahar, Dekapathar and Narlung located in hilly and remote areas under Rani police station where no basic facilities are available to meet their requirements,� an official said.

Subhash Chandra Sharma, Commandant, 175 Battalion, was also present on the occasion.
