Conservationist attends world youth wildlife summit in SA

GUWAHATI, Oct 13 - Julin Baruah, a rhino conservation campaigner of Assam, attended the recent World Youth Wildlife Summit at the Kruger�National Park, South�Africa, following an invitation by the African Wildlife Trust, stated a press release today.

The summit was aimed at creating awareness about �the critical issues facing Africa�s endangered�species and the wildlife poaching crisis and what it takes to formulate to stop the illegal global wildlife trade.�

The summit was attended by over 200 student ambassadors. The main objective of the summit was�to empower, engage, equip and educate young minds about the importance of wildlife so that young ambassadors can influence policies and reduce wildlife crimes.
