Conrad condemns attack on non-tribal during KSU rally

SHILLONG, Feb 15 - Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has condemned the attack on non-tribal people during the �victory march� of the Khasi Students� Union (KSU) here and said the police have already registered a case in this regard.

On Wednesday evening, a 73-year-old man and a few others were attacked during the KSU procession at RR Colony, Rynjah. �This is not acceptable and a case has been registered,� the Chief Minister said today.

Sangma added that the police have got a clue about the vehicle involved in the attack. �We hope we will be able to nab the people involved in the attack,� he said.
