JORABAT, March 13 - A speeding coal-laden trailer that was on its way from Tinsukia to Guwahati, met with an accident on National Highway-37 at 13th Mile near here in the wee hours today, leaving the driver, identified as Abdul Malik, severely injured.
According to police sources, the helper of the trailer, Abdul Ali, and the second driver, Gokul Saha, incurred minor injuries in the incident.
Sources informed that the trailer, bearing registration number PB 13 AR 5655, was transporting coal illegally.
