CJI accorded warm welcome on arrival

JALUKBARI, Oct 16 - The newly appointed Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi arrived in the city today. The first Chief Justice of the country from the Northeastern region received a warm welcome on his arrival at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI).

Justice Gogoi was presented a �guard of honour� by the State government. A red carpet welcome was also given to the CJI on the airport premises.

Police Commissioner Pradip Chandra Saloi, Kamrup Metro Deputy Commissioner Virendra Mittal and many other senior police officials were present at the event.
