MANGALDAI, July 29 - A ten-year-old child of a prominent local business family today had a miraculous escape from an unidentified gang of kidnappers in Kharupetia town
According to sources, a gang of three-four unidentified miscreants, travelling in a white coloured vehicle, tried to force Kabya Agarwal, son of Rajendra Agarwal, a local prominent businessman and a resident of ward no-1 of the town, into the vehicle, while he was in front of his home at around 7:30 am. However, the ten-year-old boy applied his presence of mind and manage to escape from clutch of the abductors.
The incident has created a sensation among the residents of the township considered as the commercial hub of Darrang district.
