GUWAHATI, Sept 3 - Bimal Das, husband of veteran actress of the Assamese film industry Chetana Das, succumbed to COVID-19 at a private hospital here today.
Chetana Das was also admitted to the hospital along with her husband after both of them tested positive on August 28.
Rohini Kumar Bora, a retired chief engineer of the Public Works Department, also died of COVID-19 here today. He was 85. Bora was a resident of city�s Rukminigaon locality.
The two deaths were reported amid increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the city and elsewhere in the State.
