GUWAHATI, Oct 10 - Chandmari police arrested a chain snatcher identified as Kishore Medhi alias Chintu from Paltan Bazar area last night.
A police source said that Kishore was involved in several chain snatching cases in the city. On September 16, he had snatched a chain from a woman at Rajgarh. The CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media platforms, the source said.
A case was also registered against Kishore at Paltan Bazar Police Station, the source added.
