NAGAON, April 11 - BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary launched a campaign for Nagaon parliamentary constituency today.

Addressing an election meeting in Hojai for the BJP candidate Rupak Sarma, he appealed to the people to cast their votes for the BJP. The entire State has witnessed a significant development under the bold Prime Minister and more developmental works would be carried in the near future, he said.

Criticising the Congress, Mohilary said that during the Congress regime the developmental works came to a grinding halt, but now the people have seen progress. The tribal people were denied legitimate rights during the Congress period, he claimed. He also asserted that BJP would form government at the centre. MP Biswajit Doimary and Sibu Mishra, MLA of Lumding LAC were present in the meeting.
