GUWAHATI, Nov 29 � All the affiliated units of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of BSNL associations/unions in Assam circle will go on a strike from 6 am of December 1 to 6 am of December 4 as per the strike notice given by the all India JAC of BSNL associations/unions, New Delhi, a press release said.
The North Eastern Regional Oil Workers� Coordination Committee has extended its full support to the proposed three-day strike by the BSNL employees and officers from December 1. It will organize �gate meeting� and dharna on the day.
On the other hand, the oil workers� unions will observe December 21 as �contract labourers� demand day�, a press release said.
