Brinda Karat to campaign in Assam on April 12

GUWAHATI, April 7 - Veteran Left leader and Politburo member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Brinda Karat will visit Assam on April 12 to conduct a poll campaign for her party.

Karat will address public meetings at Barama and Barpeta Road for CPI(M)�s Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency nominee Biraj Deka.

Former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, who is also a member of the CPI(M) Politburo, will also campaign in Assam. Sarkar will address public rallies at Bijni and Sorbhog on April 19 and at Tihu on April 20.
