BARAMA, April 10 Addressing an election rally in support of Maneswar Brahma, the BPF candidate for Barama, held at the Barama HS School playground on Friday, BPF supremo Hagrama Mohilary said that his party would win as many as 16 seats in the current Assembly election.

He appealed to the voters to ensure the win of Maneswar Brahma from the Barama seat. He also asserted that Brahma would get the post of minister if he won the seat.

While addressing the meet, Brahma said that after coming to power, the BPF had adopted various schemes for the uplift of the society. He said that he would support the Congress party led by Tarun Gogoi.

He firmly said that he would refrain from supporting the Congress if led by Bhubaneswar Kalita, the president of the APCC, in the event of formation of government in Dispur. There are a lot of problems in the BTC and all problems would be solved by the Congress-BPF-led Government.

Biswajit Daimary, the MP of Rajya Sabha, urged the people to elect Maneswar Brahma in the greater interest of the BTC.
