GUWAHATI, March 16 � A book on the heritage and history of the city�s Kharghuli area would be released on April 14 next at the Bihu ground of the Kharghuli Rongali Bihu.
The book titled Kharghulir Eitijya, Itihas aru Bartaman-Seemare Ukiyai Gol Purani Rialgarikhon has been published by socio-cultural organisation Jnanpeeth Samaj and edited by researcher anthropologist Rajib Hari Kaushik.
Kaushik told this newspaper that the book, a product of about 11 years of investigation and research, is expected to provide a lot of valuable information to the researchers on Kharghuli area.
