KOKRAJHAR, June 22 � The power sector in Assam got a boost today with the NTPC Bongaigaon project starting operation.
The NTPC Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project has announced the successful synchronisation of the first 250 MW unit with the NE Regional Grid at 16.21 hours today, the NTPC said in a statement. The synchronisation will enable the unit to send power to the grid.
