DOOMDOOMA, Nov 3 - The body of Alak Bhuyan (38), who had been missing since October 29, was recovered by the police from Hilikha Ghat along the Dibru river under the Baghjan Police Station in Tinsukia district last evening.
Bhuyan, who was a permanent resident of Sonari in Charaideo district, had been working at the Personal Product Factory of the Hindustan Unilever Limited here under a contractor.
On October 29, he went to work from his rented house at Hansara Pathar Gaon and since then he had been missing. His wife and brother filed two separate FIRs at the Doomdooma PS about his missing status.
Meanwhile, police have sent the body for post-mortem. The deceased had got married only three months ago.
