NAGAON, Sept 19 - Nagaon town police led by SI Gaurovjyoti Mahanta on Wednesday arrested four bike lifters during a series of operations in different places of the district and recovered two bikes from their possession.
They have been identified as Hibjur Rahman of Aminpatty, Moonmoon Sheikh of Fouzdaripatty, Manik Barman of Kochalukhuwa and Abdul Jalil of Dhupguri at Dhing.
Cash looted: Motorcycle-borne miscreants snatched away Rs 2.10 lakh from a woman near ITI bazaar in Nagaon district today. The miscreants intercepted the woman while coming in a rickshaw and snatched away the money. Police investigation is on.
