GUWAHATI, April 9 - 92.7 Big FM has launched the 4th edition of its Rongali Bihu programme �Xaat Bihur Xaat Xur�, sponsored by Pantaloons, from April 14, stated a press release issued here today.
The programme will go on air from April 14 from 5 pm to 7 pm and repeat broadcasts will be aired from 10 pm to 12 am.
In this edition, seven new-age singers will present renditions of some evergreen Assamese hits. The programme will have popular singers like Dikshu Sarma, Deeplina Deka, Pranamika Goswami, Mantumoni Saikia, Rupam Bhuyan, Pompi Gogoi and Kallol Barthakur, who will be dedicating their performances to legendary Assamese singers.
To kickstart the show, 92.7 Big FM organised a musical evening at Roodraksh Mall, Bhangagarh, on April 7 with live performances by seven singers including Deeplina Deka, Jeena Rajkumari, Pranamika Goswami, Chayanika Bhuyan, Mayuri Saikia, Geetali Kakati and Geetanjali Das. RJ Shubhankar and RJ Sujita were seen engaging with the audience at the launch through fun interactions and games, where they gave away gifts including Pantaloons vouchers to the crowd.
Celebrities including Neel Akash Das, Deeplina Deka, Utpal Das, Diganta Hazarika and Amrita Gogoi were present at various Pantaloons stores of the city, where they interacted with the customers and gave away gift vouchers to them. Xaat Bihur Xaat Xur is also supported by Roodraksh Mall, Aeromica, Prajapati Axomiya Gahana, Rang, Time8, Need advertising, Studio Heron and Aroma, the release added.
