DOOMDOOMA, Nov 18 - Bhaskar Pegu, took over charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia district, on Friday. He has succeeded Oinam Saran Kumar Singh who has been transferred as the MD of AIDC. On the other hand, prior to this, Bhaskar Pegu had served as the Deputy Commissioner of Baska district.
On assuming office, Pegu said that he would work for the overall development of the district.
Various individuals and organisations including the Doomdooma Press Club have extended best wishes to the new district magistrate.
