Bengaluru FC pip NEUFC 3-0 to enter ISL final

BENGALURU, March 11: Bengaluru FC spoilt NorthEast United FC�s (NEUFC) party with a 3-0 victory as the Highlanders� hopes of making their maiden entry into the final of the ISL ended in smoke.

In the second leg of the semifinal, the team from the North East suffered a big defeat and were eliminated from the championship with an aggregate of 4-2 goal defeat. NEUFC won the first leg in Guwahati 2-1, but could not maintain the winning form in the second leg.

After a barren first session, the hosts went 1-0 ahead in the 72nd minute through Miku. Dimas Delgado doubled the lead in the 87th minute, while Indian captain Sunil Chhetri completed the rout in the final minute of the match.
