IMPHAL, May 5 - The 48-hour Manipur bandh called by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) on the controversial death of a youth in Imphal affected the normal life in the State on Thursday.
The bandh was called in protest against the State Government�s failure to find out the facts and circumstances leading to the death of S Prasanta alias Abung in Manipur�s Imphal West district. He was found hanging from a tree in Thoubal district in a suspicious manner on April 24.
