GANGTOK, Nov 17 - Eight days after the demonitisation excercise, majority of ATMs in Sikkim are still closed. Majority of the customers have their accounts in SBI but it�s ATMs are closed till date.
The people are facing serious problems as even hospitals and medicine stores have stopped accepting the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
Long queues are seen at all banks for exchange of the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.
