ATASU condemns Pulwama terror attack

GUWAHATI, Feb 19 - The All Tai Ahom Students� Union (ATASU) has condemned the terror attack of Pulwama where more than 40 brave CRPF jawans were killed. In a press communiqu�, ATASU central committee chief advisor Ashini Kumar Chetia and its Kamrup (M) District Committee president Basant Gogoi paying homage to the brave soldiers at a solemn function organised at Sivasagar said that offering the absolute sacrifice for the country, these soldiers proved that they are our real heroes. The leaders also expressed heart-felt condolences to the family members of Maneswar Basumatary who was martyred in the Pulwama terror strike in Jammu and Kashmir.

The press communiqu� further said that Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh in his condolence message said that it was a black day for the entire country. He said that every Indian is with our soldiers at this moment of grief.

Kaling Moyong, MLA, Pasighat East Constituency, Arunachal Pradesh also paid his homage to the brave CRPF jawans at Pasighat. Moyong said that Maneswar Basumatary was not only a son of Assam but was a son of the entire Northeast, the communiqu� added.
