GUWAHATI, July 23 - Assam will host four Group A Ranji Trophy matches this season. Last year, Assam was the champion team in Group C and as a result qualified to compete in the Group A along with top teams like Karnataka, Delhi Rajasthan, Bengal, Rajasthan, Odisha, Vidarbha, Haryana and Maharashtra.
Informing this, ACA secretary Bikash Baruah informed that Assam will play their first home match against Karnataka from October 1 to 4. In the other matches, Assam will host Rajasthan (October 8 to 11), Delhi (November 15 to 18), Bengal (December 1 to 4). The dates and venues of the away matches are yet to be announced.
