GUWAHATI, Oct 1 - On the occasion of the birth anniversary of RG Baruah, the architect of modern Assam, the Assam Sports Day will be celebrated by the Bir Chilarai Sports Club on October 17.
The day-long celebration will be held at the Assam Olympic Association conference hall where several persons will be felicitated. Dispur MLA Atul Bora and Batadrava MLA Angurlata Deka will be present as chief guests on the occasion, stated a release.
