GUWAHATI, Dec 5 - Assam U-17 boys� team won silver medal in the 61st National School Games Rollball Championship, held at Jogdalpur, Chattishgarh.
In the final played today, Assam went down to Maharashtra 3-6. For Assam Sanjib (2) and Deep were the scorers.
Earlier, in the group league matches Assam beat Kerala 5-3, Delhi 3-0 and in the semifinal they defeated CBSE 3-0.
The Assam girls� team lost their play off match for the third place against host Chattishgarh 0-3. In the semifinal they went down to CBSE 3-6, informed State rollball body secretary Bhumidhar Barman.
