GUWAHATI, Jan 2 - Asomiya Pratidin trounced News Time Assam by 67 runs in the inaugural match of the 5th TG Baruah Memorial Media T20 Cricket Tournament.
At the Judges� Field here today, Asomiya Pratidin amassed 206 for two in their stipulated 20 overs. Jagjit Singh (68), Manjit Sarma (51) and Biswajit Das (50) were their leading scorers.
Chasing the target, News Time Assam batsmen miserably failed to hit back and were all out for 139 in 18.3 overs.
