GUWAHATI, Feb 1 - As part of the ongoing silver jubilee year celebration of the Guwahati Planetarium, a number of programmes are being organised for students and members of public in general.
Accordingly, an on-the-spot art competition in two categories on topics related to astronomy and space science will be conducted for students of classes VII to XII on the planetarium premises on February 9 from 11 am.
For the junior group (Class VII to Class IX) the topic is �The sky as you see it�, while for the senior group (classes X to XII) the topic is �Man in space�.
Participants can send their names along with the names of their respective schools and classes, to WhatsApp numbers 7576027539, 9435040653, 9435194811 and 9435306921. Participants should bring their own art materials, while paper will be provided at the venue. Last date of registration is February 7, said a planetarium press release.
