Archery body concerned over visa issue

GUWAHATI, June 5 � The Assam Archery Association has expressed concern over the visa issue for the archers who have been selected to represent the Indian team in the World Youth Archery Championship to be held at Yankton, South Dakota, US from June 8 to 14.

The State archery body president Jayanta Boro said only Sanjoy Boro and coach Suresh Ch Roy were given visa while other three Assam archers � Himani Boro, Manash Jyoti Changmai and Mukesh Boro � were denied along with other Indian archers.

Jayanta Boro, blaming the officials at the Archery Association of India office said they can�t withdraw the team from participating in the championship for this reason but have to put pressure on the US embassy officials so that by Monday the issue could be settled.
