There is no place for monetary transaction in the APSC now. Moreover, there is transparency and maintenance of time schedule for holding different interviews and exams and selecting right candidates for the job, Roy said.

Referring to former Chairman Rakesh Pauls case, which tarnished the image of the APSC, Roy said, the staff in the Commission have been told not to indulge in any illegal practices.

At present there are no corruption cases or work negligence within the Commission and I am trying to maintain this work culture, Roy said.

He further informed about prompt declaration of results. Proper time schedule is being maintained while declaring result and fixing time for examination, Roy said.

One of the electoral promises of the BJP was to reform the APSC and steer it clear from illegal practices that may hamper the prospects of deserving candidates seeking jobs through the Commission.
