GUWAHATI, Oct 6 - On the occasion of the ongoing National Wildlife Week and as a CSR initiative, the Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL) has donated a veterinary ambulance to the Assam State Zoo authorities here.
Sr GM (HR) NRL, AK Bhattacharya handed over the ambulance to Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) Bikash Brahma at the State Zoo campus on Tuesday.
The ambulance, which will operate in Guwahati and its outskirts, is equipped with basic first-aid facilities for treating animals and transferring them to animal clinics/natural habitats.
