GUWAHATI, Nov 14 - Padmakumar and Bijoy Barman of the Office of the Accountant General, Assam emerged champions in the masters badminton tournament held at Banglore from 11-14 November 11 to 14.
In the exciting final held today they beat defending champions Parimel and Deepak of Karnataka 21-13, 14-21, 21-18.
In quarters they beat Riyaz/SM Raghav (Karnataka) 21-9, 21-13 and in semifinal they beat Vikram parmar/ Anilkumar (Haryana-UP) 21-15, 21-14.
