Aid to Nepal quake victims flagged off

GUWAHATI, May 7 � Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), in association with Sri Sri Bhima Shankar Seva Samity, Beltola, has taken an initiative to provide relief materials to the earthquake-affected people in Nepal.

The battalions under Frontier Headquarters Guwahati have already dispatched trucks loaded with foodstuff, ration, clothes, utensils and other necessary items, a press release said.

SSB Frontier Guwahati flagged off two truckloads of items from the Games Village here today. DIG of SSB Frontier Guwahati, Sudhir Kumar, flagged off the trucks carrying relief for the quake victims.
