AGHSSASTA issues ultimatum to Govt to clear pending salaries

TURA, July 29 - All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers� Association (AGHSSASTA) has decided to hold a rally in Williamnagar in East Garo Hills, if the Meghalaya Government failed to release the arrear salaries of four months before August 3, a press release said.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Association yesterday at Tura. �We resolved in the meeting to give the State Government time until August 3 to clear our four months� pending salaries along with eight months arrears. Failing this, we will take out a protest rally in Williamnagar,� said AGHSSASTA president Sitckson B Sangma.
