Admin allows operation of shops that deal in curriculum books

GUWAHATI, April 22 - The Kamrup Metro district administration has allowed operation of book shops and stalls that only deal in curriculum books for students, in the city from Wednesday between 10 am and 5 pm under specific conditions.

As part of these conditions, the administration has asked the stall owners to arrange home delivery of books, although the guardians who reside near the book stall will be allowed to collect the books albeit without using any vehicle.

The administration has made it clear that maintenance of all kinds of health norms will mandatory for every shop.
