TEZPUR, Dec 23 � Well-known actor and successful doctor of Tezpur, Dr Hadi Alom Bora passed away at 7.15 pm today at his father-in-law�s residence in Shillong following a massive cardiac attack, family sources said here. He was 69.
Bora had acted in many Assamese films including Youg Biug and Chameli Memsahab besides several serials.
He had gone to Shillong this morning to take part in a pre-Christmas celebration at his father-in-law�s residence.
He was a senior medical officer of Assam Government and also in-charge doctor of the Tezpur TB Hospital before his retirement. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and a daughter. His body will be brought to Tezpur tomorrow.
