DIBRUGARH, Sept 5 - The Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS) has urged upon the managements of all tea estates to disburse bonus twenty one days before the onset of the Durga puja revelry.

Rupesh Goala, the newly-elected general secretary of ACMS told newsmen that the trade union has placed appeal before all the tea garden managements to ensure payment of highest bonus to its workers three-weeks before the puja. We have asked the managements to see that the percentage of the bonus is highest and to the satisfaction of the workers so that no unruly situation takes place, said Goala.

The ACMS has also demanded payment of the interim relief to the workers as announced by the government. Planters cannot abstain from paying the interim relief, said the ACMS general secretary.
