GUWAHATI, July 24 - The All Assam Students� Union (AASU) today asked the State Government to take immediate steps for flood relief in the seventeen flood affected districts of the State.
The students� body demanded that along with conducting a survey of flood related damages in State, the affected people should be given all financial and logistic support.
At least two people have been killed and over 5 lakh affected in floods in seventeen districts of the State so far.
