AALO, June 17 - Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti branch, Aalo in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh organised an eight-day Yoga Satra at Pessing Gangging from June 5 to 12 last, a press release said.
The Yoga laid focus on breathing practice, loosening exercise, Surya-Namskar, Asana and Pranayama as well as theory of understanding Yoga based on dharma and eight-limbed practice of Yoga.
Inaugurating the Yoga Satra, Padu, principal, Govt Higher Secondary School, Pessing, said that Yoga is the most effective science and methodology to manifest divinity in man and to channelise it for national reconstruction.
