TEZPUR, June 5 � At least 39 people were affected after consuming prasad at Monai Jaishidhi Bishnupur under the North Jamuguri PHC within the Sootea Police Station area of Sonitpur district on Wednesday night. The affected people were sent to the North Jamuguri PHC for treatment. Monai Jaishidhi is about 15 km from the North Jamuguri PHC and 65 km from Tezpur near the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border.
