3 more test positive in Nalbari

NALBARI, May 29 - A woman named Jesmine Sultana (24), who came from Hyderabad, has tested COVID-19 positive today. Jasmine, who hails from Barnibari village in the district, had returned home on May 25 by a special train. She was under quarantine at a lodge here.

Two more persons today tested COVID-19 positive in the district, taking the total number of infected persons to 22. The two new COVID-19 positive patients have been identified as Raj Pratim Tamuli from Mazdia and Shanidul Ali from Kandhmari.

Tamuli was staying at the IP Lodge quarantine centre. Similarly, Ali, a migrant labourer, was under quarantine at the Loharkatha Madrasa quarantine centre. They have been later shifted to Nalbari Swahid Mukunda Kakati Civil Hospital.
