3 more quarantined in Nalbari dist

NALBARI, May 1 - Close on the heels of lifting Red Zone tag from Nalbari district yesterday, the district administration today quarantined three more persons in an isolation ward.

One of the cases had come in close contact with a COVID-19 positive patient of Bongaigaon district while two others entered the district from Red Zone Bongaigaon district.

Meanwhile, the district administration has declared that the lockdown norms in the district will be strictly enforced except the relaxed essential services though it the district has become a Green Zone now. The Deputy Commissioner Bharat Bhusan Dev Choudhury said that though there is no positive case in the district for the last 28 days, it has never been indicated that it will not revive here. He called upon the people to maintain the lockdown norms besides social distancing in the district.
