3 arrested in SBI official murder case

GUWAHATI, Oct 14: In a breakthrough, police last night arrested three persons including Putul Ali, a SBI customer service officer of the Dodora branch, in connection with the sensational Junu Sarma murder case.

Junu Sarma, a service manager of the Dodora branch of SBI, was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Agiathori on Tuesday when she was on her way back from office.

One of the three persons arrested has been identified as Saddam Hussain.

Police is yet to share the details of the third accused.

Police said that three accused have been arrested from various locations and they are being questioned.
