GUWAHATI, Feb 19 � Two Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Asom (MULTA) militants were apprehended today during a joint operation in Assam�s Dhubri district, police said.
The militants were nabbed at Golokgunj during an operation carried out by the police and the army.
An Italian-made pistol, five rounds of live ammunition and two Bangladeshi SIM cards have been recovered from the apprehended militants.
The militants have been identified as Jahinur Islam and Ahidur Islam. � PTI
